• Google Ignores NOFOLLOW (Maybe)
  I've heard that search engines ignore the NOFOLLOW rel command, but recently I found out (as far as I can tell) that this doesn't appear to be the case.

• Web Development on Linux
  So, anyone who knows me knows that I made the switch to Linux awhile back and have been extremely happy with it. A lot of the developers I talk to are worried about the transition, but I've managed to work out the kinks, and have majorly increased my productivity.
• JQuery Font Sizer
  A jQuery plugin to allow users to select the font-size of the page, or a region on the page (or website). Includes ability to set the size change amount, as well as a cookie function which will store the setting for a variably set number of days.
• JQuery List/Icon View Mode Switcher
  JQuery script that allows the user to flip between a list-view mode and and "icon"-view mode. Includes a fade transition to ease the effect.
• PHP Thumbnailer - GIF, JPG, and PNG Support
  I've compiled code from many other sources to put together an easy-to-use way to quickly create and present thumbnails of gif, jpg, and png files based on height or width restrictions and with controls for setting the output quality. The function also includes a cache control to prevent the thumbnails from being created more than once as well as the capability to square crop images which is great for galleries.
• The Guestbook Test
  As the economy improves (as I'm told it's doing), we resume hiring in the web field. I've always struggled weeding out good talent until several years ago when I started using the "Guestbook Test".
• Embed YouTube, Vimeo, etc. into CKEditor
  I've been playing with CKEditor since it first came out, and one thing I had been struggling with was finding a plugin to allow users to embed YouTube, Vimeo, and other media code into the editor. Well, I finally just decided to write my own.
• jQuery Filter Plugin
  The jQuery jFilter plugin is a simple method for returning relevant results from a users query of an ordered/unordered list. It also highlights the word or segment to show the user visibly the accuracy of matches and where in the word or phrase the match is made.
